Who we are
Doc Typer ("we", "us") is a web app that types user-supplied text into the user's own Google Docs at a configurable pace.
What we collect
- Your Google account email, name, profile picture, and Google user ID (sub).
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the Google Docs and Google Drive scopes you grant, used solely to perform typing jobs you initiate.
- The text you submit and the typing job metadata (target doc ID, duration, progress).
- Billing data handled by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
How we use Google user data
We use the Google Docs and Drive scopes only to (a) list documents you own so you can pick one, (b) create a new document at your request, and (c) insert the text you provided into the document you selected. We do not read, share, transfer, or use Google user data for advertising, training AI/ML models, or any purpose beyond providing the typing feature you requested. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers that process it on our behalf (Supabase for storage, Stripe for payments, Google for the Docs/Drive APIs).
Retention & deletion
You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of your account and stored data, sign in and use the in-app account controls, or contact the site administrator.
Security
Tokens and session data are stored encrypted at rest. Sessions use HttpOnly, Secure cookies. We use TLS for all traffic.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and notify signed-in users on next login.
